Well, I finally caught the code on the 'ol red rocket ! 2 long and a short flash. As far as I can tell by the manual its the TPS. I don't even want to guess what this thing is going to cost ! Just checked online and looks like just over $100 bucks. This would explain the sled acting like the TORS kicking in even with it bypassed. I am going to get the meter out maybe I'll get lucky and it just needs adjusted but that wouldn't explain why it's missing at 5 - 6 grand would it ? It misses and the tach jumps all over the place then it'll be fine for about 10 miles. Just when I think "maybe it's ok now " the damn thing acts up again ! The odd thing is there is absolutely no miss at WOT. So indeed I am thinking TPS just as the little annoying light says ! I just checked in a Tech Bullitin and the dealer cost on these is $71 and are the same part number as the R1 and R6 streetbikes.
