3" is not cutting it for me. I want something taller. I know I am going to have to buy the extensions which is totally fine, but I would like to see some pictures of 4+ taller ones on any sleds. I rode a Fusion with a 5" and I liked how that felt. So any pictures of opinions would be great!!

Oh ya Turk if you read this can you look at me gear post please!!!

Moving forward as well as up helps a lot. It is a vicious cycle though. Raise the bars far enough and you will want the seat raised too. Then the wind hits you in the chest which is a pain on cold fast rides.

This is a 3 inch pivot riser with Mtn bars which totals about 5 inches.

Risers

You go to high you need to get a higher seat. Any height after 6" you need to extend your wiring also. I like my adj Roxs .

5 in fly risers with big bar mounts and pivot from powermadd. in total about 7 in

If you look at risers get RSI there cheep and u can use both 7/8 or big bars with them. here is a link

you wont regret getting the bars into your comfort zone...it is really nice for leverage and a lot easier on your back! mnt. viper bars are 2" higher than mtn. max bars. i run these with a 2.5 pivot riser and its great. the extensions aren't that nice though , i am not a huge fan, i think they look hidious and have seen them malfunction frequently...a better route is to get longer cables (rsi, motion pro, make your own). if you are planning on going 4.5 in or less you can go with the mnt. viper cables which are maxed out at 4.5. i have seen a few people use a hardline extension for the brake line coming off the caliper.....plumb in a piece of hardline from napa or wherever and buy fittings to connect to your stock line and the caliper.

Are mountain bars the same width as the regular bars, just taller??
Most mountain bars are taller, not as wide, and have different rise and pull back angles. You can pretty much get whatever you want anymore.

Well I know what I want now. What do I all need, I have a 3" riser now and didnt have to get longer cables. So what all cables do I need to get???

cables

Rich sent me a SRX cable and a Mnt Viper Cable to go 6".There is only 1 year the Mviper used that cable before they changed it so I think its a 03 Mnt Viper cable but can't remember which one it was for.
