On a 97 Vmax Sx700 I have no spark, it ran good and strong and when I put it to bed and woke up the next morning it had no spark.
I did both source coil tests and had a infinit reading across the black/red and brown leads (triangular plug). (fail)
The second test across both harnesses with the brown/red (triangle plug) to the black on the rectangular plug checked out ok. My pick up coil test came up fine.
So the question is.......
Will this failure cause a compleate loss of spark?

Stator
Yes the Tors Checks OK.
I have no reason to suspect ignition or kill switch, but i will check tonight.
I have no reading on the one test so the stator must have a broken wire.
Must be the stator, I will let you know this evening.
