I have a lead on a Fusion 600HO IQ skid w 1000 miles. It has a Fox zero pro PSS in the rear and Ryde FX in the front (both are air shocks). Any opinions on performance of this skid in my viper or stick to tried and true M10? I would still have to figure out mounting locations.
Thanks....
Thanks....
I'm not sure but if it's the same mounting dimensions as the "Edge" skid, it is a fairly easy install. THere are a few on here that did the Edge swap with great results.

The air shocks make it even lighter and more fun to ride.

So you dropped the front down from 4.25 to 5.125". This sketch shows 23 11/16" between front and back mounting holes. The Poo Fusion that it was removed from has 25" between holes. Does this change the install template?
This skid has RydeFX on the Front and Fox zero pro PSS on the rear. Any problems with them? Should I add schraeder valves before installing or just leave them alone? Any other tips for install? How long should it take to install? Might even give up a snowmobile day to install.
What about the off set brackets?
Thanks,
Ed

Use the measurements off of the donnor sled if at all possible. If you move the rear shaft forward it stiffens the spring, and it will also allow it to hit the idler wheel blocks. If you use the 3/8 flat aluminum 4 wide by 7 long put it up and down, and you can make both front holes if you want. Mine is a heavy 4 stroke, but like I said the Pol guys are doing it too. Start stock and then adjust. Paul
The rear drop brakets can also be 3/8 plate made to fit. Just as long as you get close to 1 inch narrower. I used 1 washer additional on each side to take up slack, but better than the brakets being to tight. Paul
How did you end up with 23 1/4"? You used all of the other dimension from JBShocks? How does it sit? Can you send a photo of your mounts and elevation (side view)?
Is your tunnel the same as the mine 02 Viper??
thanks....

A few more Q's...the JBShocks dim is for all snowmobiles regardless of brand? So I need to drop the front down 7/8" and push the back mount out to 25" and drop down 5 3/8"....so this is the layout?
How does the IQ work on the heavier 4 stroker? I have a RX 1 that needs some help too.
Thanks,
Ed
