Need advice from a pro

ok so heres the problem. Trying to get the primary clutch off, won't budge I'm not using a 'clutch puller' I'm just using a normal bolt puller with an extension in it because i assume thats all the clutch puller is from the description i've found on teh interwebs. I've used PB Blaster, Lube Job, WD-40 and I'm out of options. I actually filled the thing with pb and let it sit over night, nothing. essentially I've tried everything short of a sawzall. Where do i go next? (Don't bother asking why i need it off, trust me i do)
 
Use the correct clutch puller. If you damage your primary you are talking big bucks. The pullers are only $30 +/-. If you bend or damage your primary you will get vibration, belt wear, and you could even take out the main bearings. Get the right puller !!!!

The puller looks like a long bolt, and threads into the primary clutch, and a smooth tip section pilots into the crank and puts a preload on the end of the tapered end of the crank. You tighten the puller bolt, and tap a little on the end with a soft mallet, tighten aliitle more, tap, and the primary will pop right off !!!

No other way to do it I'm afraid...

is number 1 in that picture hollow? where as number 2 would pass all the way through it? because what i was using was like number 1 with a bolt head on the end with number 2 attached to the end of it. similar to the main shaft of a steering wheel puller.
 
here's what worked for me.....

Put some bearing grease in the openeing in the clucth, thenscrew in the puller....it should POP right off

Mine was sooooo stubborn, added some bearing grease, barely tightened the puller on POP, off it came

Little messy, but works!! Hydraulic pressure is amazing!!
 
You can fill the cavity with grease.. takes about 1/2 tube.. then thread the proper size bolt into the clutch...clutch will come off from hydraulic force... works great..just messy.
 
Interesting approach using gease....I like it...hydraulic pressure is an amazing thing. I want to try it just for fun !!!! How do you get the grease out of the crank? Is the hole all the way thru?

ok, i thought of that but i didn't know if it was a stupid idea or not, thanks so much (in advance hopefully) i'm gonna go see if i can fill my garage with grease. hopefully it will save me time from going to the machine shop lol
 
Water works too. Not as messy. Tip it on its side, fill with water, teflon tape the puller threads, and off it comes. Flop it back down, the water runs out and your all done. No trying to get the grease out of the crank.
 
oh wow, you literally meant it was going to pop off... i think i might have just pooped a little... hydraulic pressure is infact amazing... of course i was going a little heavy on the torque... but wow... thanks everyone. i think next time i'll lathe up a clutch puller
 
buy a good puller & not the cheap ones.i used a cheap one a few times & it eventually bent the skinny part of the puller.had to go in so far with it it actually started to strip the treads in my crank shaft..had to tap it just a bit...always use a good puller( i will from experiece)..& sumtimes you may have to tap it a bit with a hammer..& air tools works nice also when they dont want to come off.
