well the first ice race of the year s coming up and i was just wondering what the best helix was for 660 drags, sled is a 2000 srx setup for drags only. currently i am running a 51/37 but last year my sled was falling off at about 500ft mark. any help would be appreciated could this problem be the helix
helix is dependent on primary set up. There are 100 different primary set ups so that makes 100 best helix possobilities.

also running silver primary spring with 90 degree twist
not sure about your primary stuff but i think your secondary spring is not that good for it if its silver..turk will probably pop out again

that silver at 90 is really stiff ,maybe try 70 or 60 or a green spring.edgeracer1 said:also running silver primary spring with 90 degree twist

GO TO THE GREEN SPRING IN SECONDARY, UP TOP GEAR TO A 21 FOR 660. RUN AROUND A 48-42 - 50-40 CAM @ 80. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I talked to Heath at bender and he said to run the 20/40 gearing and the silver sec spring for everything that is done to the sled.

does anyone think that the orange pink orange spring is causing my falling off problem?

As 3:16 said 21/40 or 21/39 and around a 50/40 helix with green spring at 70 or go with what heath said and go slow.

thanks alot guys i hate it when you spend all kinds of money and what they tell you to run is not even any good.
falling off could be 2 possibilities
too much primary weight
pulled thru powervalve(s)

I,LL ANSWER YA ONE MORE TIME. ITS EXACTLY WHAT TURK POSTED. HERE IS WHEN YA KNOW ITS GEARING. WHEN BETWEEN 500 F.T. AND 660 F.T. YOU GET NOSED OUT BY ABOUT A SLED LENGTH. 3:16 (yammie tony)
