I have the suspsension for my ovation on my bench in the basement. I'm cleaning it up, greasing, new bearings, etc. It was previously "set-up" for little kids to ride on. I've noticed that the torsion spring seats have different profiles on them. Each side of the spring seat has a little different height. I'm guessing the more "preload" I put on the torsion spring the more weight it will handle. Is that correct? I'm also guessing that both the left spring and right spring should be the same? (It looks like they weren't when I tore it apart, that's why I'm asking.)

Thanks!

yes they should both be set at the same height. for an adult i would put it in the upper hole/highest setting. for kids lower one is best. from the factory they where all set in the middle.
