Drive removal please help

03 viper....I have the chaincase all un done and can only get it pulled
out 1/2"....what is stopping it..? do's the em/brake have to come off
or do's the disk slide....never had this much of a problem....changed many track before, if theres a trick to this nigtmare please help...Thx Dave
 
take chaincase and brake disk off as one unit... disk will slide off shaft when you yank the two together...

(don't loose key that keys disk to jackshaft.. orientate shaft with key on top so it doesn't fall in belly... best to place a rag below to catch key)

emergency brake hardware can all stay on case, just undo ER cable and tie it out of the way... also, brake caliper must be removed and tied out of the way... tj
