Hey Guys,
Decided to tackle cleaning the carbs on my 86 Phazer for the first time today. Strange thing is I noticed that one of the brass pilot jets was missing. At least I assume both carbs should have identical parts.
It started and idled perfectly, poured lots of white smoke though. Anybody ever hear of anything like this? Does anyone have pictures of the insides of one of these carbs so i can see if I am just stupid? The little brass piece is just not there???

I don't have a pic. My advice is to go to the dealer and get a pair of new pilot and main jets...they are cheap and that way you know you have all the parts correctly....Nick

Thanks Nick. Does that sound a little odd to you? I can't figure out what happened to it. I hope it's absence didn't damage anything else, pistons etc...
