Well we hit about 50 degrees today, and its lookin to be in the high 40s for the next week, snows pretty much gone here, they said it was going to be a mild second half of the winter, looks like their right for once....

Oh well i got a date with the milwaukee river water skipping all day tomorrow. me and about 5 other guys are goin down the river, its still iced over but theres open water in alot of places, probably goin from newburg to grafton, 10 miles (+,-)

Was 50 here this am at 7 its getting messy out. Hope the TY ride goes fine. Maxdlx

dude tape up you're holes, silicone everything else. lots of air vents on that srx it's real easy to get the clutches wet. and well you know dive, dive, dive.

we will be getting a few degrees above 0 at start of week, but shows more snow and flurries basically well into next weekend to and cooler temps...
winter will just be starting..hoping for that major winter storm we haven't got yet.

yea hope you get some good news, all my miles have been put on in the U.P.

Blue missle, i never got my clutches wet in the powder at all, my buddies all had problems with clutches slipping in the powder, but i dont' see what i can tape up or cover up besides putting that little plastic cover in front of that vent that comes supplied.

The snow will be back, here in northern mi. we never really had a january thaw so were getting it now.Every winter has 1-2 big warmups, I think we'll still have some good riding in this month and march.Leave it to me the eternal optimist, lol!

Swede, any idea how Watersmeet will be next week? We have a trip planned. From the looks of things, it may be iffy at best.

I hope you're right because the extended 15 day forecast does not look good. Cooler temps after this week, but really no snow or storms. Hopefully the snow they are calling for later this week will be enough to replenish everything. I've already moved my 21st wkd trip to the 28th.

well up here in the tug hill region we got way too much honestly..& i havnt got on a sled since last year so i cant wait for it too melt.cant happen fast enough, sorry never thoguht i would say it but....let the bashing begin

yeah you read that right.it's been a good winter up here.but like i said i just dont enjoy riding like i used to.it got to exspensive & others i used to ride with dont ride anymore either so it got boring. so i sold the sled over the summer.

I hope we get a good storm, Because here we dont have enough to ride on now. Trail is pavement and dirt. Planning a trip to the UP now.

Can we get a partial rebate back from the DNR for the time the trails are unuseable?

Didn't think so..........

LOL.. Yeah they should have a surplus now, for all the time they dont have to groom or patrol..

I think its time i get back on two wheels anyways, i'm sick of this 3 feet of snow and the next day gone crap. and its getting expensive to take tons of trips to the U.P. i already have 3 trips to the U.P. in january and one to crivitz!

Oh well, still a diehard snowmobiler but it really makes you wonder with this 50 deg weather shit, its awesome to have some of this weather because it makes me think about getting back on a bike, but at the same time i feel that i still am lacking miles this year on the sled, got about 1200 on.

Yeah I do like the summer toys, But I just dont feel that I got enough snow time this year yet, I really hope we get another big storm, Or I will have to stay for a week in the UP..

Tough call there, but even going a little farther north to houghton/ hancock and points north from there can be a night and day difference.
