any ideas of the best and worst mods for the 2000-2004 mountain max's?

I'd have to say a set of Simmons ski's, Ice scrachers, and an Ultramax 3 belt and leave the rest alone. I rode mine for 4000 trouble free miles.
My $ .02
My $ .02

Best mods... Renthal banshee bars ( taller and wider ) handle bar risers, Pipes, and any lightweight stuff you can find.
Worst mods.. anything thing that hurts your reliability, and simmons skis.
Lots of people will dissagree with me about Simmons but I think they push through corners. The double runners almost fight with each other. I was talking to a bunch of pro snocross guys in Aspen at the X Games and none of them use or like them. The deep keel snocross skis work the best. ( like the SLP powder pros, or C and A)
my 3 cents...
