Hey guys, I've been searching through the old threads and still can't find the measurements for where to drill the holes to swap skids on the above. anyone out there that can help a brother out?
Thanks in advance...

look on JB shocks website ,www.jbshocks.com , they have the measurements if I recall. Its in the tech pages.
Sent you a PM of what I have.

Sweet found the print ( Thanks )
Here is my next question I have.... That print shows both front and rear holes the same distance down from the top of the tunnel (5 1/4') but then I measured the doner chassis the front hole was higher (aprox. 1 1/4") .
So what effect does this have and what should I use?
I measured the front hole 4 3/8 and the rear 5 1/8 on the doner. In my mind the 5 1/4 dimention would give me more clearance for a taller track paddle, right? Will equal distance down effect the function of the skid?
I Want to make sure my number are dead nutz before i punch holes....
thanks again.

i used the 5 1/4 numbers and am quite happy with the set up though because i have a larger paddle track than stock it leaves very little if no room for studs.i also took out the top bogey wheel on the yammy as as far as i can see polaris did not have them.

how tall of a paddle are you running, where is the clearance tight?

i will have to measure the track but i think its 1 1/4 and i really didnt notice anywhers else but it rubs at the top of the tunnel sometimes ,thats why i took off the idler boogies from the middle top.will try to get under it after work and take a close look and make sure of the track size.will report back after 6 p.m.im assuming the vmax you have is basicalyy the same as the 600 from 94 ?

x-10
Just put an x-10 into my 95 800 went in without a hitch. Took the measurements right from the donor sled and used them on mine, except Polaris doesn't use heat exchangers over the track so the bottom of my exchangers is where I took my measurements. Clearance is definitely not a problem. It has a 1.25 inch track and I run studs.

i think thats where i goofed ,i measured from the very top .im thinking of using a bracket and going below the tunnel by just a little that should solve that little problem with out putting on too much of a radical jack- up.quad said:Just put an x-10 into my 95 800 went in without a hitch. Now to wake up an old thread... I have read all the extra 10 swap threads and this is the only one the referenced the 5 1/4" measurement being taken from the heat exchangers. Does this matter? I'm running an 1-1/4" track from a 1998 vmax with studs just up the middle. This swap is 95% done, just waiting for fox shock to come back, so now is the time to make a change if I have to... Please someone put my mind at ease and let me know if this set up will work...
