2000 srx 4850 milage middle rod bearing went when I call crank repair place he told me that it happen to all srx and viper's same problem what-up has anybody else have this problem.

Did the crank bearing fail or did the sled run lean and cause the bearing to give out? Dont go fixing the crank and then think its all set. Not all fail, it was mainly in the 98-99 sleds that had issues.
Normally they are fine but if it runs lean and mean its a matter of time.

no the bearing Failed talk to widwest crank he says thats what happens to them there is a weak spot in the center

What did they quote you for the repair?
I can get a crank rebuiled for 350.00 plus the other parts but i new a whole engine the cases have cracks in them
