Coming in after a 100 mile trip I noticed my track looked a bit odd, after looking it over and finally coming to my senses of why I noticed I was missing my outside rear idler wheel. Now my problem is I dont know what size to order? I believe all yamahas are 20 mm (ID) but how about the outside?

just go on any micro ficsh and put in your year sled and get the part number from the parts breakdown. Go to port-yamaha.com

shade tree has them for 30 bucks with lifetime warranty against breakage. The warranty doesnt cover the bearing though.
Yes, 7" x 20mm. It should be a 7" x 42mm wheel with a 6004 bearing in it. Yamaha part should not be that much, or you can get one from your favorite online source. PPD makes most idler wheels stock or otherwise anyway.
You might try Rich or Port.

Micro fiche is a really old method of cataloging parts. Parts diagrams are created on translucent celluloid or plastic sheets, you use a viewer machine with a high powered light bulb. The light bulb shines light through the sheet and an image is projected on a screen. The viewer looks like a large box. Takes for ever to look up parts because you have to keep changing the sheet if the one you are using does not have ht part you are looking for.
Unless someone has a website tool called "Micro ficsh", maybe on the Yamaha site.

Old timers (like me) refer to the parts catalogue as micro fiche because that is exactly what it used to be. Many still refer to the printed or online version as micro fiche. Same info is now in electronic format and available online at http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/parts/
I used to use the fishe too, when I was younger and working for my Dad. Don't mean to be a jerk
or call anyone old, or hijack the thread.
Thought is was funny when someone mentioned micro fishe, only parts people do that.
Think the new stuff is called Compu fishe or something.
That link is pretty cool though. Easy to look up parts on there. Wonder if there is an owners manual online

The one that your looking at for $100 is a wheel on the rear Axel.
