My 500 Twin goes through primary clutch rollers like crazy.I found out that I can buy just the bushings for these rollers, they are half the price.Has any one just change the bushings? Is it difficult?Do you need a special tool?

easy to do
I just used a vise.Put a socket the same size as the bushing on one side.On the other side put a socket that is larger then the bushing.Put all 3 pcs in line in between the vise jaws(takes a little patience) and crank the vise.It will push the bushing out into the larger socket. After u do a few it is easy.

Do yourself a favour and buy a good used clutch from a tripple and put your hardware in it. Once the twin clutches get to the point that they start needing bushings, they will constantly eat them.
