the club i belong to has a 09 rs viking, and they pull a mogul master drag. now the issue comes from tipyness and inability to steer when dragging. they still have a vk 540 and that machine from what i understand does it all satisfactorly. does anyones else's club use a 09 viking or does anyone else do the grooming with a viking and have these same experiences. the groomers are talking about options and not really sure what they are i feel the sled needs to be set up to operate properly pulling a drag. also it seems to eat belts 3 in 500 miles, it has been back to the dealer and has had the secondary shimmed. looking to help resolve this because this machine is a beast, and i feel it is definately an upgrade to the grooming efforts.

That is cool that sleds are used as groomers. SND has Tucker Sno-Cat machines for grooming our trails. Sorry I can't help with your problem though.

the bulk of the local trails are narrow and twisty the main its trail is much wider and straighter. a large sno cat or tractor would'nt be practical for the narrow tight trails.
