I have been struggling to keep the DCS useable on my 02 SRX. The sled is ported ,cold air kit, Vforce, Boost Bottle ect. I have to run such huge main jets to keep the DCS out that it is losing power. When I bypass the the DCS[I have a bypass system installed] and jet it by plugs + wash like a non DCS sled I can drop the main jets a long way to pick up the power.
I have replaced the original DCS sensor already with the same results. This occurs even with an Avgas blend.
My question is: is this normal for a DCS system on a modded sled or do I have a CDI problem?

If your heads are cut, it won't work, because it is tuned for the spesific head dome design, or so I read, and with the other mods, forget it, some stockers cant keep it off.
what is your heads squish ,squish angle and compression

yup your just going to have problems with a modded DCS SRX,there is a member on here that just went through this, could not get the light off
all sorts of headaches ended up blowe 'er up, put back to stock or ditch DCS and jet accordingly.

I have 3 sets of heads; The stock ones...cranking compression too low with porting.
Peak heads: installed cc's 20cc[12.6:1] .063" squish
Cut 98 heads; installed cc's 20.75cc[12.2:1] .058" squish
Both the peak + cut SRX heads give same results...I have not run the stock heads since i did the porting
