anybody ever seen a mm skid setup like this?

has anybody ever seen the shock mounted like this before? also no transfer rods or straps, just some aluminum stopper plates for the sissor arm. ive never seen anything like it. this is on a 151 srx i picked up a couple months ago with a blown cyl. just got it back together

looks like what a lot of my buddies run. They use straps instead of the tranfer rods

Is it any more then just let the middle mount drop down to the rails? Or is it some new parts needed to be added?

How bout giving us some dimensions on that skid. I might have to try that. What is the distance between the scissors arms where they mount to the rails and the length of the front scissor arm? Kinda K-modish.

Alot of suspensions are set up this way. You are just missing the anti-bottoming spring back there. Set up like doo skid

There are guys on the TY 4-stroke site doing this to older RX-1 skids. There are a couple of threads on it over there.
