Is the bolt that holds the clutch reverse thread and how many ft. lbs. should I apply with a clutch removal tool before I should stop - before it bends inside the shaft?
When I put the clutch back on does it go on dry or should I put somthin on the shaft?
Thank you for your help

Regular threads and I just crank it till it pops off. I wouldn't think you would put anything on the clutch shaft.
nothing on the crank snout, but put a little oil on the puller threads though
and use an impact. the primary will pop right off
ohh and when you put the clutch back on,
1-tighten to 87 ft lb
2- loosen bolt back up completely <---- From Daman
3-retighten to 43 ft lb

Not a pro but im guessing since its a press fit onto the crank the first torque "seats" the clutch and the second is the proper torque for use.

Clean up the crank stub and the inside of the clutch(where the crank stub sits) with emery cloth before you put the clutch back on. The clutch will come off easier next time.
