Hey guys does anyone know the measurements for mountain performance anti ratchet drivers need to install. any pics would be helpful and possibly the specs. I suppose i could measure to the middle of the window and so on and so forth but if there is anything exact let me know thanks for the help jason :letitsnow :jack:

Hi I have them on all my sleds including my VMax4's. I can not find the measurements for the SRX's/SX's, but its easy to do ,just measure them out using the existing drivers still installed referencing them to one end of the shaft...common sense shud kick in as to where they shud be placed. A word of CAUTION. When I did my first SX700 the 9 tooth extrovert tips hit the front of the suspension W arm, I had to trim almost 1/4" off the tips so they would not hit, because of this I used the 8 tooth drivers on the other 5 sleds[the VMAX 4's needed the 8 tooth for track clearance anyway] The interferance problems would probably not be an issue on late model Mountain Maxs[2000+] and the Mountain Vipers as [I believe]the front arm mounts further back.

thanks for the tip and i did my research and i found some old posts of yours and ordered 8tooth drivers. thanks for all the help.!

When you install 8 tooth drivers you will have to change your gearing if you want to keep it geared the same as it was.

For example:

Say you are currently geared 23/38 = 1.65:1
With 8 tooth drivers you now will have effectively increased your gear ratio by a factor of 1.125 [9/9 = 1.125]
1.125 x 1.65 = 1.86... so your new gear ratio would be 1.86 using this example.
Going to a 25 top gear, in this example, would bring you close to where you were.
Also your speedo will be even more optimistic over indicating by an additional 12.5 %

I made a typo in this it should read [9/8 = 1.125]
