I need a left side trailing arm for a 97 700SX. Can arms from XT, TXC and SXRs fit? What about SRXs and Vipers? Thanks.

SXR and Viper trailing arms will not fit. They have a different spindle angle. SX and SRX are the same.

I ended up buying new last year from Wpg Yamaha, couldnt find any aftermarket for my 98sx as they are different for some reason, but recently i learned that the srx are the same. Try YAMAHAT on the forum, he has lotso parts, and he is from Winnipeg.

Thanks boondocker and ekimsx600. Boondocker I would call Wildwood or Dubois Marine, Wpg. Yamaha seems to pad their parts pricing. Ekimsx600 what's the status of the skis?

Differences
There are differences outlined in the shop manual. I'll look them up.

Darn Tootin'
Look for a letter stamped in the metal near where the radius arms attach.

Sx and srx are the same as far as the dimesions in the shop manual. The xt,xtc, and sxr are different. There is 1 degree in caster between the two. I don't have the viper spec. J
