98 srx 600

I have a friend that wants to sale his srx, with a blown motor to me for 800 bucks.I was wondering if this is a good price, or is it too high?

depends on the extent of the damage, also on the condition/mileage on the rest of the sled.

I have a bunch of stuff for an srx600 should you get it.

Shaved heads, base gaskets, porting template, etc...
Should wake that puppy up of you rebuild it.

from looking at the motor it looks like the pto side that is out .He had a complete rebuild two yrs ago.the sleds condition is ok normal wear n tear
