I was adjusting the spring tension of the rear shock on the skid today. While I was looking around under there, I found a hairline crack in a weld on the right lower side of the W arm ( weld around pipe/ tube that has a bolt and shaft) Has anyone had this problem ?

daman.when are you opening up your museum for your sleds.Be sure to incase them in glass so no dust gets on them. Then you can charge a fee for people to come in and see the sleds that never were used to their capacity. :o|

Very common, There is a thread on here about bracing, I used the 3/4 in angle iron and flat steel method, No problems since.
If you shocks are shot and your bottoming real hard over whoops or bumps, it will crack the arm also, Not just jumping.

here are some of my pics..........I finally got really pissed off after breaking mine several times:)

your lucky only a hair line. I had mine in three seperate piece in my hands last year. :ORC :o|

FYI

also take apart the bottom front shock mount as that weld also breaks. Well, Maybe it was just me. :dunno: But better to be safe and check it vs not and getting it back in and finding out that you have to repeat.
