i have an srx 98 and the crank is not phazed and welded so i put the viper bottom end on it the only problem is the staters are different and so are the flywheels is it possible for me to use the srx stater and the viper flywheel??what problems will i encounter?? burnt pistons? run like shit? or will i be the first to do this?
I guess its time i changed the bearings on the viper crank and use the srx base!!!!

send you crank to a rebuilder to be rephased and welded. Run that. The 98 srx had the lower output stator and i belive the pickup was in a different location than the 2000+ srx and the viper.(which could lead to alot of fab work) Other things are the viper crank and the 98 srx crank are different. They use different end bearings in the case so you are out of luck there(viper crank in the 98 srx bottom end)

as mine killed a connecting rod bearing.
