2003 Viper rear heat exchanger

Just bought a 2003 Viper ER. It has a rear heat exchanger. I have read on the forum that this is recommended adder for the viper. Am I correct in assuming this was not stock on 2003 Viper, so it was added by old owner?
Just wondering since I was going to do it and was suprised to see it was already on the sled.

From what i gather it was not factory fit on the ER's, there was one on the mountain(different style),then on 2004's it was factory installed,mountain
had a different style mounded on top of the inside tunnel vs back in the
corner like srx's was. so yea someone installed that cooler on your sled
great addition.
