Has anyone ever tried to put a 600-700 triple in a phazer,use the stock pipeand aftermarket can. I have a 84 with a wide frontend kit and most of it is junk. I would like to make it look as stock as I can outside.
One time at haydays I saw a phazer II with a 600 polaris triple in it. It was tight in there, but all of it fit. Have to fab up some heat exchangers and such. I've thought of doing a similar project, but I think I'd start with an exciter as it's already plumbed for the liquid cooling. Or find a big aftermarket u cooler. That wouldn't be to bad to plumb.
