I have 2 0G1's & 1 0G2.Does one of these heads belong on a specific cylinder or are they all the same?I thought I read here somewhere that the PTO cylinder was lower compression and should the 0G2 be there.It's on the middle cylinder now.Thanks.

the srx's have the same compression on all 3 cylinders. its the viper that your thinking of, w/lower compression on pto cylinder. i do have to say, that all the srx's that i've seen, had the 0G2 head on the middle cylinder, but i don't believe there's a difference. i think it was maybe a manufacturing # or something, that designated which casting place it came from or something?? the #'s that are way more important on the head tops, is the 8DN part#. you need to watch out for the 8DN-00 and 8DN-10.
8DN-00 is '98-'99 700 srx's
8DN-10 is '00-'02 srx's
8DN-00 is '98-'99 700 srx's
