Here is an odd question. Why would they put a sealed bearing on a crank. I thought about this one for awhile now and I just can't figure it out. I could see if it only had one on the outside but one on both side...hhhmmmmmmm.
Just wondering if anyone came across this before.

update...
I got the spacer off n the second bearing. It came off a little easier then the first one. needed less force to get it off.
I cut the bearing outter shell so I could get the bearing seperator around the inner part of the bearing since there is no space between the bearing and the crank. Anyhow it came off now to figure out what to do because I need some parts n yamaha wants WAY TO MUCH FOR SOME DA@ BEARING.
Parts I am going to replace
1. outter bearing seals ( bearing is ok yet and no after market avilabile) $70
2. rubber seal $25
3. inner bearing $60
So now we are going to see what I can come up with......
Also I am trying to figure out this problem.....? HERE
