hey,ive been keeping my eye out(ouch!) for a set of triples for my 97 sx and I noticed that slp"s wont fit sleds with reverse. Will anything fit? Also, will the reverse have any effect on future re-gearing? Ive never opened the case on a reverse sled. thanks al

Depending on what type of SLPs? I had the three into one on a 2001 mm700 with reverse and they fit. It was tight but it worked. The Benders will fit and so will the end dump PI pipes. Not sure about the others!

I dont have any specific pipe in mind, but i looking for something used and not excessively noisy.i just dont want to get stuck with something that doesn't fit.
I have benders and no problem with reverse....And usually you don't need to re-gear with new pipes, just some clutch and carb work.

The SLP three into one pipes weren't loud at all. The Benders are a little louder than SLp and PI end dumps are obnoxious!

I have SLPs with reverse and it does fit but would buy Benders next time.
Gearing , reverse comes with a special 39 tooth bottom gear not interchangable from Yamaha so gearing changes is by top sprocket only,
FYI electric start is also a pain with SLPs

I don't think that PI end dumps are obnoxios, I think they sound pretty awesome. Try Cpr's or the earlier Haucks(same pipes) Those fit no problem with elec start and reverse.
