I think I have a reed that's wearing out. Fouled plug a 3 or 4 times in my #1 and hard to start after it's warm. It takes awhile to foul. Last year it would go about 150 to 200 miles. This year the same cyl after having the same plug in it since the beginning of the season. Anyway, I've seen some recommendations for carbon tech reeds on this site. What do you guys think?

I am just curious on why you say the reeds are the problem?

Just a hunch. I've cleaned carbs several times. Only the #1 cyl fouls. It's getting harder to start when the engine is warm and left to sit for 5 mins to an hour or so. Since buying this sled last year, I've always had to crack trottle a little after it sits, but seems to be getting worse. I haven't fouled since I put a new plug two weeks ago, when I reattached a loose plug wire to the coil. But not sure what it is exactly yet. I'm just thinking out loud with this tread. I'm going to move the reed cages around if it fouls again this year. The sled has aprox. 4200 miles, on so far. The previous owner ran it for awhile without a speedo.
P.S. I'm running 142.5s for main jets on all three cyls. and stock pilots. The clips are lowered 1/2 a position. Only the #1 cyl fouls. It's happened 3 or 4 times since I bought it. I don't get to ride it enough to really test it the way I want to.
