I am posting this question for a friend of mine. He owns a 2005 Venture 2-up.
he is currently using 4" skags(which i think is most of his problem)and is saying that in most conditions it "darts" all over the place. My question is two part:

1. Would simply replacing the ski runners to something like a 6 or 8" dual carbide runner solve his darting problem?

2. Are there any modifications and/or adjustments to the front and rear suspension that any one has done to improve the handling, and had results that they might want to share?

Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of write-ups in the tech section about this. First of all is the sled studded? If not, 4" carbides should be enough. But the write-ups are about adding shims to make the skis more rear biased, so that the skis carve their own path instead of darting from path to path.
