Turk -- Stock 700 SRX Clutch Information for Newbie

I have a bone-stock SRX 700. I've been reading that clutch setup/rebuilding can increase both performance and mileage.

I've read many of the clutching threads, but most of the terminology used is foreign, despite my 30 years working on cars, etc. Thanks for your patience with a newbie.

Can someone point me in the right direction of:

1. A basic primer on clutches and clutching
2. A clutch setup for my stock 700SRX
3. A source for parts if needed
4. Any special tools needed?
6. Time estimates to perform these jobs
7. Cost estimates for parts/etc.
