8dn-20 with 4.5 first&4.5 at tip with gwg spring with two shim's straight 47 helix at 70 degree's 144 stud's still's pull's 8,500 no problem.on ice condition's

If rpm,s are perfect & clutches are cool then your as good as it gets. adding mass pulls down rpm,s....clutching 101.

why were you even asking how much weight can the clutch take.Your setup sounds fine.As long as launch rpm is in the area of 8100-8200 and climb to 8500..you are doing ok.No need to load up the weight more unless you are over-reving.I am running a 51/43 helix and still over-reving about 8600 at wot. Then in this case I would add a washer to the outer 4.5 rivet to get it down.

Turk you posted just before me.I knew you would say that's as good as it gets.Turk,do you have a good used 4-stroke sled to sell to me maybe for next season.I know you keep your sleds up to snuff. But it has to be fast!!!

srx-2002

Next week I plan on trying 5.5 grams in both holes with a 40 tooth bottom gear and the 48-40 advantage edge helix and green spring.

Im right at 8500 with this setup with 4.5 grams in both holes so hoping to be close with the 5.5 grams weights and lower gearing.
