my 01 srx is starting to do a bogg when i peg her wide open. This has never happened before...it doesn't bog if i ease into the throttle but if i peg from a dead stop it bogs down. Also it bogs if i peg it in fields but it dosen't bog on groomed trails. Is this a power valve or exhaust being blocked by deep snow
Check motor mounts, check clutch alignment, install a new belt...its amazing how a warn belt can seem like something far more serious!

Sound's like power valve's.I had the same with mine.Gummed up and found out that the cable's were routed wrong at servo motor.Yamerhammer said:

Hey thanks for the replies... i bought this sled last winter and all three powervalves were stuck and pulled through... had put brand new ones in and cleaned the carbs...will check on the powervalve free play. I thought it was a warn wire harness but pulled it out from under the motor and found nothing wrong.
