Somewhere on this site I once saw the belt squeal problem covered while at an idle. But I didn't have a MM so didn't pay attention................
It is a 2000 and I've checked the offset and the distance. Both are within specs. Seems like there was something about bolts and washers being changed?? Can anyone help??
Thanks....Gary

On the back of the secondary clutch there is 3 bolts remove these bolts and remove the washer underneath the bolt head and reinstall bolts this should take care of your problem. If you remove the secondary and do this on a bench it works the best. Somewhere on here is a diagram showing this make sure and KEEP THE WASHERS!!!!

remove secondary
remove the 3 bolts on back
remove the washers
put bolts back in keeping the washers
put secondary back on tourqe to 46 ft lbs
should do the trick..

The ends of the bolts wear with time also. If it still squeals without the washers, replace with new bolts and start over with the washers installed first.
