I just ordered a set of ski spreaders for my 76 GP440. They have not arrived yet but my question is, will I still be able to keep the stock ski shocks on? It looks to me like they will not work because of the angle the spreaders will force them to be in. Thanks

You will need to mount the shocks on the inside edge of the skiis. You'll need to make some tubular spacers to fit between the gap where the shock mounted previously, then thru-bolt them to the inside.

Thanks GP292Racer, that makes sense. I'll give it a try.

Sorry, had to dig this thread up in case it helps someone else. Want to get ski spreaders for my ET250 but I couldn't envision how I was gonna keep the shocks but it all makes sense now! Thanks GP292 if you're out there!
