Got a new belt at the dealer the 8DN 17641-00 is no longer available, new belt ends -01.Looks like different build material on the inside cogs and edges.
Anybody know about this new belt?

Yep it's a few thousands wider...maybe .015-.020"... it's what we have to work with. It comes on the 4 strokers..so it must be good.

I did't veritfy this my looking at the sales receipt, but I bought a new 8dn in Dec. I know I had to remove one of my shims on the secondary as well. I did'nt have any squeaks, I just noticed that the new belt sat up pretty high.

Yep...and I'm thinking instead of 4000 miles....I can get 5000 on the fatter belt. 
Yep I had the same problem on both of my new 01 belts... had to adjust on the secondary,
the new belts are junk, had three different belts delaminate on three different sleds

Gerby say it ain't so...............
i did not remove any shim's from the secondary, so maybe that would help. i do have 500 miles on a new belt right now woohoo!
