First time i got my sled 93 exciter 2 sx started it let it warm up for a bit went to go went for a sec then bogged down and fouled up the plugs which were BR8ES so after trying to fix them once realizing it didnt work i put some BR9ES in it then it ran fine for a while, then one day it just seemed like it wanted to do it again, now it didnt do like it did with the BR8ES and completely foul down and run on 1 cylinder and barely move but i could tell it was fouling them up big time and it starting bogging down especially mid range , i switched them a couple times after that and after hitting the gas good once back to problems. All the plugs are usally pretty black on the bottom, the guy i got it from said to use premium so i have been (91 octane) which is the highest i can get and maybe 94 sometimes, Does anyone know what can be casuing this and is there a point in using premium gasoline if the previous owner has been?, thanks

Ive got a 93 exciter sx , I had to clean the carbs before i could go anywhere. If youve got junk in the tank, it will never be right . My SRX carbs needed to be cleaned twice this season due to clogged pilot jets . My advice , make sure tank is clean and carbs are as well. As far as octane , run reg or midrange not sure about high , my SRX doesnt start very well with high octane. I think I am using br9es spark plugs . One more thing , use some blue stabil ,(not red) it helps correct the effects of ethenol in gas .
