raising the stock steering

I am looking for help moving my stock steering and controles up on my 98 Vmax 700 XTC. I've heard that the Mountian Max steering slides right into place and raises the steering it up 4-6". Does anyone have any other advice or help with moving up the steering??

Moving the bars up more than 3 inches will require new cables and lines.There are many aftermarket parts that call raise your bars from 2 inches and up. Contact one of the preferred vendors on this site like Rich Motorsports. Rich can help you out with all the parts you need to raise the bars and extend the cables.

3" is a stretch unless you get creative with moving cables around. I have a 2" riser on my sx-r and Its JUST tall enough for me to stand straight up and ride without hunching over, I'm right at the 6' tall mark.
