Hey guys and gals,

First time poster here, go easy on me.

I have 2 - 2005 RX Warriors. Each have about 2500 miles on them.

This season one of them is acting odd.

At high RPM's 5K and above, if I "unload" on the throttle (just let it go) sometimes it will for lack of better terms diesel, (just Baaaaaaaaaaa) then idle down, (no throttle response at this point) then backfire. After the clutch lets go and you can throttle all you want over again. With a constant throttle up/down, it never does it, just when you "unload" on it.

Now I'm wondering if any of you have seen this before and know what causes it.

Thanks.

could be the primary clutch is hanging up from belt dust.

remove the coils and check for arcing to the head.

you would be better off asking this question on the 4 stroke side. these will probably be the 1st 2 things they will ask you to check.

check you're cable adjustment and switches on the bars my nytro did thid this year and there was ice under the flipper and sometimes it would'nt slide and make the switch.

TORS. The throttle cable is mis-adjusted or sticky, or the flipper is iced up like Blue
Missile suggests. Do some reading on tors in the link in my sig 'tech faq index'. Should give you a general idea. You should also sign up over at www.ty4stroke.com for more 4-stroke info.
