MI UP Registration - broken windshield transfer decal?

I broke my windshield, does anyone know if I can get a new decal for my sled or if I have to buy one in Michigan?

are we talking about the registration decal or trail permit?

Registration - take registration to SOS and have a new one issued.
Trail Permit - Not sure where to go, but the State has this on file and should be able to lookup your info and issue a new one.

or just cut it off your other windshield,and tape it on the new or just carry the piece of windshield cut out around the trail permit with you. I have done this before.LOL

considering the season is about over here in the M.W., I'd go with Yamaouch08's idea for the last ride or two.

I heard some people put them on a small peice of plastic cut to the size of the trail sticker, drill a small hole at the top, and use it for a key chain, if the windshield is not broken where the sticker is, just cut it to the right size and put in on a key chain

That wouldn't fly for the season here in michigan. It must be placed on the sled. however, i would do it for the last ride or two of the year and take a chance that the dnr/sherrif is understanding.
