I recently had the pleasure of my chain case being blown to peices by the bearings... And I was wondering what happens when you go up or down on the teeth...Which way does what??? Not sure what I want to do with it yet but I'm sure a change is in order....Thanks you have been a HUGE help to me before...
Thanks,

For example: I went down one tooth upper with my SXR 600 because I went from stock track to a 1.25 ripsaw.I have more torque with my sled now and the motor works less now to get the sled moving.Apparently the clutches will work less harder and closer to 1:1 ratio.Speed loss is just a tad.I went up 2 teeth from that the other day,and really didn't pick up anymore speed at wot.Unless maybe if I was going to keep wot for 2 or more miles on perfect conditions,I may pu more.Depends where you are going to ride most of the time.I love the snap I have now with the sled.

Bigger sprocket(more teeth)on top, smaller sprocket(less teeth)on bottom=more top end,less bottom end grunt.
Smaller sprocket(less teeth)on top,bigger sprocket(more teeth)on bottom=
more low end grunt, less top end.
