I'm putting a 2002 600 triple in a 1997 SX700, the stator and trigger plugs are different from the 2 engines. Everything looks the same other than the plugs. Am i right in assuming that i can use my stator and trigger from my 700 on the 600 engine so they will plug into the wiring harness?

i dont know for sure but i think you would need to use 2002 wireing harness ,or if stator and fly wheel,trigger are the same size and bolt in, use 97 on 02 motor, best is wireing harness change, i dont know if cdi timing is the same, i did the same on yamaha 4wheeler and had to use motor wireing harness
