Fkn A! Just got everything toghether and was checking it out on the stand. Split my track halfway across in one spot. Stock track with 1-2 more good years in it so not a huge loss. Had plans of maybe extending to 136 in a year or two but looks like I've got to make a decision now. Is this worth doing on an SRX in everyones opinion? Would likely want to long travel in the process. I ride mainly fields/ditches and UP trails/lakes couple times a year. I've always bitched about this thing being a pig in snow over 8" deep. How much extra cost involved versus just buying a new 121 and 192 new studs? Thanks for any advice/experience. Dave

Sorry to hear about that Dave... Take a look at the thread on 136" viper, as that's what I did to one of my 2003 Viper ER's. I like it, but haven't really had the opportunity to ride it but one trip last year.

As for a 121" track, I have my "take off" with zero miles if you're interested, and 144 Woody's gold digger studs. I just have to find the track back in the shed.. It's already in a box and ready to be shipped I think.

Thanks Woody. I'll keep that in mind. My brother has a new 136x1" from an ebay deal gone bad that I can get with the good buddy discount (he also put close to 100 new studs in it b/f he figured out it was to long). Thats the main reason I'm considering the tunnel and rail extension. Can I use my stock springs or will I have to long travel? Dave

hey dave i have hartman rail extentions and relocation kit all you would need is tunnel extention ,and plastic covers , i think hartman would just sell you that and the rivets and even better i have a set of 02 viper shocks for sale i sell ya all four shocks and what i have of the hartman kit , a damaged but usable 136 x 1 3/4 track all for $275.00 bucks and i will take care of the shipping ......all you would need to buy would be rivets , tunnel extention and plastic covers , i think (not sure but the shocks will bolt right in ....

I have to find it in the shed, but I'm open to bids. ;)! I was hoping to get $300 plus shipping, but may consider waiving shipping. Make an offer. I'm easy to get a long with.

B2SO,
Is it necessary to relocate to use the hartman extension and viper shocks or just advised?

Dave relocate it, you won't belive how much better it is in deep snow. You'll never sell it if you do.. Maxdlx
