In the prosess of mounting the PSI twin pipes, and have a frew questions. As mentioned before,my technical english isnt going to win any awards,so break it to me easily:

1:The psi-sheets i have says i need a 166 Q-6 nozzle.The nozzles in my carbs says 480 P-6.How is the P and q nozzles different,and can i use the P nozzles?

2:From what i understood,PSI says in the sheets that i should screw the main jet into the brass-nozzle,and leave the main-jet hole in the floatbowl open.Have i got this right?

3:The little hose going from under the float-bowl,is this for getting rid of exesive(?) fuel,or is this the hose the powerjet feedline?Should i plug this shut?

4:What needle clip position should i use with the P-6 nozzles and the original -89 needles?

Thanks for the help!

Nikolai

the difference between the letters p to q is .050mm.so they richened up the circuit thruout . as for the needle, make sure that yours are 91 exciter needles(same as psi custom needles)main jet screws in to the needle jet,(nozzle) block off the powerjet hose, (the hose that loops back to the carb body from the bowl using a ballbearing) hope this helps!

Thanks rambln,that actually realy helped!:)
I read further in the psi-sheets that i could use my original needles and nozzles with only twin pipes, since i have an 89,and it had an update needle that was a good copy of the psi custom needle.I will try the original needles and nozzles.
But what needle position do you recomend?Isnt it so that if the needleclip is on the lowest position on the needle it gets richer?and leaner if the clip is on the top position?

Thanks man!

yes nikolai you are exactly right about clip positions. you know the drill bro! start on the rich side and work down. good luck, keep me posted! love them exciters!
