Well I finished the season pretty well today on the SRX.Temps were about
0 Celsius and a little cloudy out. The results I got were beyond words.Yesterday couldn't really get past 110-111 mph.Today on my favorite spot where I do testing on the River,I decided to do a few more WOT runs. The SRX is running top notch and again no over-heating issue's,no DCS issue's at all this season either.Got stock clutching with the addition of 4.5 in place of 3.6 inner.Primary spring stock. Have the RX1 Helix..>51/43 with Green Spring wrapped at seventy.Belt is within specs..34 mm.
I had a full tank of gas on board also for my testing, less fuel would of saved me some weight I guess.Anyways I did my first run..and couldn't believe what I was hitting. So I did it again, and again and again.I think I did 7 WOT runs..all with the same results to.I jumped right up to 115 and then she climbed to 118...rpm's dead on 8500 at that point.Had to hang on because of icy areas and focus at the gauges at the same time.
The sled has 5600 original miles on it and I am pleased. Not afraid to have a race with someone now and feel embaressed.THE SRX really is a rocket and that triple 700 is bulletproof man.
DAMAN..you got to get your SRX past the 70 mph mark..you'll love it.
I end this season on a good note for sure and thank many people who have helped me along the way.Next year can only look for better results.Probably engine re-build and some porting done on the beast for sure.I love this sled and will never let her go.It stays in the family.
I was hoping for 120 on the meter, but will take 118.Maybe if I had a few more feet..I could of buried the needle.Happy enough,it can be done and like I said..this sled rocks.I like how the needle just dropped after 100..pretty fast to.

Heres a few pics of the beast in the driveway ;)!

I think your pumping up your keyboard!!!!!!!

How about one more run and take a pic of your speedo when its to the pipe?

blue..behave yourself.Yeah it was great. It dropped to 115 instantly and then finally fell to 118.Did this at least 7 times just to be sure, was trying to bury the needle with no luck.It was wicked any ways.Next season I am purchasing a helmet cam when I pick up my new Helmet, then I will show you.Race you to the wat wiver..first one in wins!!!!!! ;)!

Your still trying to play wrap around the clock i see

Very hard unless you drop it down
My budy has a f7 with a chain welded in the middle of the suspention
he hooks it to a link so it holds it down
good for 5 to 6 mph

And put some picks in that thing before you kill yourself.

Stop eating at wendys
Your pipes are not mounted properly if you are blowing dounuts
Do you follow me?

yes I think pics would be on the agenda for next year.It was a little hairy running down the River at that speed with the back end trying to sway on me.I knew that if I had a fish tail..it was all over, but just had to attempt the runs.Don't really care if I will get any faster, knowing that the SRX can do it is all I needed to know. Now I know the SRX can be a fast sled and will just enjoy it.Main thing is I have faith in that 700 triple motor, great mid range pull to the top.

gearing...it is all stock for now.I imagine if I go to 144 pics in the track,it would be best to gear down 1 tooth upper. You are right,I have been lucky so far on the ice,but scares me when I think I am going to lose control and roll the sled and me under it.Luckily it is not icy everywhere I ride. This time of year is the worst for ice.

we are waiting the flood forcast now.Looks like it's going to hit as the second worst flood level again as in 1979.In that year my house was surrounded with water. In 1997 my yard was 9 feet deep in water.I am not worried.
