THE PAST SEASON, I THROUGH A 1.2 CHISEL INTO MY 2000 SRX FRONT HEAT EXCHANGER ICE RACING. NOW THIS SLED IS ONLY USED FOR ICE DRAGS AND GRASS. ANTI-FREEZE ALL OVER THE PLACE. I TOTALLY RIPED DRIVELINE OUT FOR THE WELDER. HOLE WAS LIKE A .22 BULLIT. AND NO I WAS NOT GONNA JB WELD IT. WHILE I HAD IT AT THE WELDER , HE SAID '' HOW ABOUT A SHIELD ''. WE BUILT A PROTECTION SHIELD MADE OUT OF STAINLESS. I RIVETED IT TO THE CHASSIS EVEN WITH THE STOCK YAMAHA PROTECTORS. I WILL TRY AND POST A PICTURE FOR YOU GUYS. I DON,T THINK THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU GUYS WHO RIDE YOUR SRX,s IN THE SNOW. BUT ICE DRAGGERS, SPEED RACER, GRASS DRAGS, MIGHT LIKE THIS. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I suspect that cooling for 660' is not an issue ?

I USE A COOL DOWN CART. ALSO WHAT WOULD BE THE COOLING ISSUE. GRASS/ ICE. AIN,T THE IDEA OF THAT EXCHANGER TO BE HIT WITH SNOW ? 3:16 (yammie tony)

No need to worry about cooling IF you only use it for ice/grass. like you said... Trail riders may experience over heating with it.
