i got a set of psi pipes for my sxr 700,need to know what i need to do for jetting and clutching set ups to make sure i dont melt her down. i ride in the northeast.any help would be great

The tech section has jetting for Bender pipes. A tad to rich on the mains. Jetting may be far different for PSIs. Maybe check PSI's website.

for clutching go with a stock setup except for a 52/42 helix @60 * shift out at 9000- 9200 rpm. If you can find a short cover for your primary then go with a w/s/w spring with 8cas

Its just the design of the pipes I guess, all about flow and back pressures. Yammys come fat from factory anyway...just make sure you use 93 octane or higher. My buds got psi's on his sxr with over 10000 miles and still running strong!
