had some issues with the viper this weekend. out of the blue picked up a vibration/clunking using the brake. any ideas as to what to look for? chain is not loose. waiting for the snow to melt off to take a deeper look.

  1. Brake Pads (excessive or uneven wear)
  2. Brake Rotor (warped from overheating)
  3. Parking Brake (pesky little things)
  4. Chain and Gears (need to drain and inspect)
  5. Jackshaft Bearings
  6. Driveshaft Bearings
  7. Belt
  8. Hyfax Sliders
  9. Wheel Bearings in the Rear Skid
  10. Track Clips
  11. Track
Be sure to find it before something lets go.

I would start by elevating the track and rotating the secondary by hand while lightly applying the brake.
