had some issues with the viper this weekend. out of the blue picked up a vibration/clunking using the brake. any ideas as to what to look for? chain is not loose. waiting for the snow to melt off to take a deeper look.
- Brake Pads (excessive or uneven wear)
- Brake Rotor (warped from overheating)
- Parking Brake (pesky little things)
- Chain and Gears (need to drain and inspect)
- Jackshaft Bearings
- Driveshaft Bearings
- Belt
- Hyfax Sliders
- Wheel Bearings in the Rear Skid
- Track Clips
- Track
I would start by elevating the track and rotating the secondary by hand while lightly applying the brake.

had similiar issue. make sure bolts that hold on caliper on tight and/or have not fallen out.
thanks for the insight. chain case was the first area i was heading for. had already ruled out the belt. let you know what i find.
