Well the sled is three years old now with almost 6500 miles, I have an open trailer, and my sled sat out side under a tree all summer. So you can imagine what the arms and bolts were looking like (not good) there was rust on the welds of the arms and they were all hacked up from salt and small trees and everything else I manage to hit. So being the always looking for the easy way out kind of guy (also known as” cheap”) I started looking for a cheap, hard, coating to put on the arms. I know powder coating is the way to go, and someday I will learn my lesson and do things the right way, but that has not happen yet …So , I decided to use truck bed liner. I cleaned up the arms, removed the stickers, scratched them down with a scotch brite pad and spayed them with the bed liner. ….I am VERY pleased with the end results, a hard, non-scratch surface and the finish kind of matches the belly, I don’t know how it will hold up against the cold, but as of now I am taking large sticks and hitting the arms with them …and not a mark ….it was super cheap …two spray cans @ $7.00 each …will let you know how it holds up this winter, could be a great coating for those older sleds lying around ….

Looks to me that it is not a bad idea!
Dude, I didn't know that you have Ohlins on your Viper!
How well do they work & are they worth the $$$$$$$?
I have said since day 1 of picking up my Viper that when my fronts need to be re-done I'm just gonna go with Ohlins!

B2SO, while your cutting corners, cut your drive axle in half, mail me your extroverts, and I will go get you a new axle and press on the drivers. BTW I don't know what a new axle runs.
